Please review this policy thoroughly prior to making a reservation. By reserving a yacht with CoralFieldGlow, you are consenting to these refund terms.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualifies for: Complete reimbursement minus processing charges
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for credit card operations
Requirements: Must be submitted through email or phone in writing
24-72 Hours Before the Charter
Eligibility: Half of the overall yacht rental cost
Time for Processing: 7-10 business days
Deduction: €25 will be reduced from the refund
Stipulations: Acceptable cause needed; administrative expenses incurred
Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Refund Available: Refunds are not provided
Exception: Consideration for emergency scenarios is possible
Substitute: Issuing a yacht charter credit could be at managerial discretion
Conditions: Proof is necessary for emergency considerations
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Safety
Your safety is of utmost importance. If the yacht captain, certified for safety, decides that weather conditions are too dangerous for sailing:
- Full Reimbursement: Issued if it isn't feasible to reschedule
- Alter Appointment: Change your yacht booking to an alternative available slot without extra charges
- Credit for Charter: Obtain a credit good for one year from the initial yacht booking date
Procedure for Evaluating Weather
We take into account various factors to evaluate weather conditions:
- Evaluating wind force and trajectory
- Surf conditions and wave measurements
- Visibility and likelihood of precipitation
- Notices from maritime authorities
- Captain's judgment based on marine safety
Time to Decide: Determinations on weather-induced cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Special Considerations for Emergencies
We are sympathetic to sudden medical contingencies. The below scenarios might qualify for special considerations:
- Immediate medical conditions requiring hospital care
- Loss of a close relative
- Call-up for military service or urgent recall
- Compulsory court attendance or subpoena
- Catastrophes obstructing travel
Documentation Needed
For processing requests based on emergencies, the following documents should be provided:
- Declaration of health from a medical professional or hospital papers
- Certificate of death (when relevant)
- Formal orders from the military
- Notification of court orders or obligations to serve on a jury
- Announcements regarding travel or state of emergency
Refund Handling: Emergency refund requests with the requisite paperwork are processed within 3-5 working days.
Operational Cancellations
Equipment Malfunction
Should your allocated boat runs into mechanical issues that are irreparable:
- Replacement Yacht: We'll endeavor to provide an equivalent alternative
- Complete Reimbursement: Should an appropriate replacement not be available
- Partial Reimbursement: If the alternative yacht comes at a different price range
- Compensation: Additional recompense may be offered for the inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
Though uncommon, should the certified crew not be available:
- We aim to arrange an alternate crew if feasible
- Complete refund if the yacht journey cannot proceed
- Opportunity to rebook with no surcharge
Procedure for Processing Refunds
Method of Reimbursement
All refunds are transferred back to the original method of payment:
- Payment Cards: Approximately 5-7 working days for processing
- Wire Transfers: Usually 7-10 working days for processing
- Cash or Check: Typically 3-5 working days for processing
Service Fees
Credit Card Transactions
€50 fee applicable to cancellations requested more than 72 hours in advance
Handling for Bank Transfers
€25 fee for all refunds via bank transfer
Additional Charges for Foreign Transactions
Supplementary fees may be charged for transactions across national borders
Issuance of Yacht Charter Credits
Scenarios for Credit
Yacht charter credits are put forward as a substitute for refunds under certain circumstances:
- Late cancellations (with less than 24-hour notice)
- Cancellations owing to weather
- Voluntary changes in booking time
- Service disruptions
Credit Stipulations
- Validity Period: Credits are valid for 12 months from the issue date
- Non-transferable: Credits can not be transferred to others
- Amount: Credits cover the full value of the charter without subtracting processing fees
- Applicability: Credits can be used for any available yacht rentals
- Expiry: Credits will not be extended past a year
Partial Refunds for Incomplete Services
Disruptions During Service
For charters that are either disrupted or curtailed by factors we have control over:
- Refunds proportional to the unutilized duration
- Credits equal in value to the interrupted service for future charters
- Gratuitous services or upgrades offered
Guest-Induced Interruptions
In the event of a charter prematurely ending due to guests' actions or breaches of safety:
- Reimbursement for the remaining time not provided
- Total payment is obligatory irrespective of the early ending
- There may be additional charges that apply
Settling Disputes Over Refunds
Should you take issue with a decision regarding a refund, you may:
- Seek examination by our administrative staff
- Present further evidence or records
- Approach consumer advocacy bodies
- Utilize legal channels in accordance with the law

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within a day, assess it in light of our refund terms, inform you of the decision within two days, and administer approved refunds in the time mentioned beforehand.
